Tìm hiểu về điểm đến

  • Hãy đọc lời khuyên du lịch cho điểm đến. Chúng tôi sẽ cung cấp thông tin về các rủi ro chính và về cách giữ an toàn. Tìm hiểu ý nghĩa của từng cấp độ cảnh báo trong các khuyến nghị du lịch chúng tôi công bố.
  • Đăng ký để nhận lời khuyên du lịch của chúng tôi. Chúng tôi sẽ cập nhật cho quý vị khi tình hình thay đổi. Theo dõi chúng tôi trên X, Facebook và Instagram.
  • Nghiên cứu luật pháp địa phương ở các quốc gia dự tính du lịch.
  • Nếu là người song tịch, hãy kiểm tra xem điều đó sẽ ảnh hưởng tới chuyến đi của mình không.

Sắp xếp giấy tờ và bảo hiểm

  • Đảm bảo hộ chiếu của quý vị còn hiệu lực ít nhất là 6 tháng kể từ ngày kết thúc chuyến đi.
  • Xin đúng loại thị thực cho quốc gia điểm đến hoặc quá cảnh. Các quy định về thị thực thường xuyên thay đổi, vì vậy hãy kiểm tra thông tin với đại sứ quán hoặc lãnh sự quán của quốc gia điểm đến trước mỗi chuyến đi.
  • Mua bảo hiểm du lịch toàn diện cho bản thân và hành lý. Kiểm tra các nội dung in chữ nhỏ - tìm loại bảo hiểm phù hợp và bao gồm cả bảo hiểm cho các hoạt động sẽ thực hiện ở điểm đến.
  • Kiểm tra xem có cần thêm giấy tờ gì nữa không nếu có trẻ em đi cùng.
  • Kiểm tra xem quý vị có cần Giấy phép lái xe quốc tế (International Driving Permit -- IDP) hay không.

Chuẩn bị về mặt sức khỏe

  • Nói chuyện với bác sĩ. Cân nhắc xem quý vị có đủ sức khỏe về mặt thể chất và tâm thần để đi du lịch không.
  • Tìm hiểu xem liệu có bất cứ nguy cơ nào về sức khỏe ở nơi đến không.
  • Kiểm tra sức khỏe tổng quát ít nhất 8 tuần trước khi đi. Tiêm các mũi chủng ngừa được khuyến nghị.
  • Kiểm tra xem thuốc men của mình có hợp pháp hay không và có thể mua được ở nơi đó không. Mang lượng thuốc theo toa đủ dùng cho cả chuyến đi. Mang theo bản sao đơn thuốc và thư của bác sĩ.
  • Mua bộ sơ cứu y tế du lịch. Mang theo thuốc chống côn trùng nếu tới quốc gia có bệnh lây truyền qua côn trùng.

Suy nghĩ xếp những gì cho vào va ly

  • Trước khi xếp va ly, hãy kiểm tra xem các thứ của mình có thứ gì thuộc loại nguy hiểm hay không bằng công cụ tìm kiếm Pack Right. Safe Flight (Xếp va ly đúng cách, Bay an toàn)
  • Kiểm tra các quy định về hành lý của hãng bay. Một số vật phẩm bị cấm hoặc cần phải được cấp phép. Một số vật phẩm khác phải được cho vào hành lý xách tay hoặc chỉ được cho vào hành lý ký gửi. Ví dụ như pin dự phòng và pin sạc dự phòng chỉ được để trong hành lý xách tay.
  • Xếp va ly cho thời tiết và các hoạt động dự tính. Mang theo bất cứ vật dụng bảo hộ gì sẽ cần. Kiểm tra xem có bất cứ vấn đề nhậy cảm văn hóa nào đối với việc ăn mặc, nhất là nếu viếng thăm các thắng cảnh tôn giáo.
  • Cân nhắc chia thuốc men thiết yếu ra làm hai rồi cho một nửa vào hành lý xách tay, một nửa vào hành lý ký gửi, phòng trường hợp hành lý bị thất lạc.
  • Kiểm tra xem được phép mang theo bao nhiêu tiền nội địa và ngoại tệ khi nhập cảnh vào quốc gia điểm đến.

Báo cho mọi người biết là quý vị đi đâu

  • Báo cho ngân hàng biết là quý vị đi du lịch và kiểm tra xem thẻ có hoạt động được không. Nên có nhiều phương án thanh toán.
  • Để một bản hành trình của mình với bạn bè hoặc người thân trong gia đình. Báo cho họ biết khi nào quý vị có thể ở nơi không liên lạc được để cho họ khỏi lo lắng.

Có kế hoạch ứng phó sự cố

  • Có bản sao trang ID trên hộ chiếu, giấy tờ thị thực và các giấy tờ quan trọng như là đơn thuốc, hồ sơ bảo hiểm và giấy tờ tùy thân. Mang theo một bộ bản sao các giấy tờ và để lại một bộ với người nào quý vị tin cậy.
  • Giữ một bản in đặt vé chuyến bay, đặt phòng ở và đặt vé dự sự kiện, để đề phòng trường hợp quý vị bị mất chiếc điện thoại di động.
  • Biết phải làm gì nếu xảy ra tình trạng khủng hoảng tại nơi quý vị đang có mặt ở nước ngoài.
  • Giữ một bản in danh sách chi tiết liên lạc để đề phòng trường hợp quý vị cần được giúp đỡ. Chi tiết liên lạc cho trường hợp khẩn cấp ở từng quốc gia được liệt kê trong các khuyến nghị du lịch chúng tôi công bố.
  • Đọc bản Hiến chương Dịch vụ Lãnh sự để hiểu các biện pháp mà chúng tôi có thể giúp đỡ người Úc ở nước ngoài.
