여행지에 대해 알아보기

  • 여행지에 대해 우리가 마련해 둔 여행경보를 확인해 보세요. 주요 위험 요인과 안전수칙을 안내해 드립니다. 여행경보 상 각 등급이 무엇을 의미하는지 확인해 보세요.
  • 우리가 제공하는 여행경보를 구독하세요. 상황이 변경될 경우, 최신 정보를 알려드립니다. X, 페이스북, 인스타그램에서 팔로우해 보세요.
  • 방문할 국가의 현지 법률을 미리 확인해 보세요.
  • 이중 국적을 가지고 있는 경우, 이것이 여행에 영향을 미치는지 확인해 보세요.

서류와 보험 정리하기

  • 여권이 여행 종료일로부터 최소 6개월 이상 유효한지 확인하세요.
  • 방문하거나 경유하는 국가의 적정 비자를 발급받으세요. 비자 요건은 자주 변경되므로, 여행 전에 방문할 국가의 대사관이나 영사관에 확인하시기 바랍니다.
  • 본인과 소지품을 모두 보장하는 종합 여행자 보험에 가입하세요. 약관을 꼼꼼히 확인하고, 본인에게 적합하고 방문지에서 할 활동을 모두 보장하는 보험을 선택하세요.
  • 어린이와 함께 여행하는 경우, 추가 서류가 필요한지 확인하세요.
  • 국제운전면허증(IDP)이 필요한지 확인하세요.

건강 관리 계획 세우기

  • 주치의와 상담하세요. 신체적, 정신적 건강 상태가 여행하기에 적절한지 고려하세요.
  • 여행지에 건강상 위험이 존재하는지 확인하세요.
  • 출발 최소 8주 전에 기본 건강 검진을 받으세요. 권장되는 예방접종을 받으세요.
  • 복용 중인 약이 여행지에서 합법적인지, 구할 수 있는지 확인하세요. 여행 기간 내내 충분히 섭취할 수 있을 만큼의 처방약을 챙기세요. 처방전 사본과 주치의가 작성한 진단서를 지참하세요.
  • 여행용 응급 처치 키트를 준비하세요. 곤충 매개 질병이 있는 국가로 여행하는 경우, 곤충 퇴치제를 챙기세요.

짐 싸기

  • 짐을 싸기 전에 ‘Pack Right. Safe Flight.’ 검색 도구를 이용해 위험물이 있는지 확인하세요.
  • 이용하시는 항공사의 수하물 규정을 확인하세요. 일부 물품은 반입이 금지되거나 사전 승인이 필요합니다. 기내 반입 수하물이나 위탁 수하물로만 처리되는 것들도 있습니다. 예를 들어, 여분의 배터리와 파워뱅크는 반드시 기내 반입 수하물에 넣어야 합니다.
  • 날씨와 예정된 활동에 맞춰 짐을 챙기세요. 필요한 보호 장비를 챙기세요. 특히 종교 시설을 방문할 경우, 복장에 관한 문화적 관례가 있는지 확인하세요.
  • 수하물 분실을 대비해 기내 수하물과 위탁 수하물에 필수 의약품을 나눠 담아 둘 것을 고려하세요.
  • 목적지로 반입할 수 있는 현지 화폐 및 외화의 한도를 확인하세요.

지인들에게 여행지 알리기

  • 여행 사실을 은행에 고지하고, 카드 사용이 가능한지 확인하세요. 여러 가지 결제 수단을 준비해 두세요.
  • 친구 또는 가족들과 여행 일정을 공유하세요. 연락이 닿지 않을 수 있는 시간을 미리 알려주어 그들이 걱정하지 않도록 하세요.

만일의 사태에 대비하기

  • 여권 신상 정보 페이지, 비자, 처방전, 보험 증서, 신분증 등 주요 서류들의 사본을 만들어 두세요. 사본 한 부는 직접 소지하고, 다른 한 부는 믿을 수 있는 사람에게 맡겨 두세요.
  • 휴대폰을 분실할 경우를 대비해, 항공권과 숙소, 행사 예약 내역의 인쇄본을 지참하세요.
  • 해외 체류 시 위급 상황 대처법에 대해 미리 알아두세요.
  • 도움이 필요할 때를 대비해, 연락처 목록 인쇄본을 소지하세요. 각 국가의 긴급 연락처는 저희 여행경보에 등재되어 있습니다.
  • 영사 서비스 헌장을 읽어보시고, 우리의 재외 호주 국민 지원 방법을 확인해 보세요.
