Using the Smartraveller logo

The Smartraveller logo is owned by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. Use of the logo without approval or in an inappropriate manner may result in legal action.

Travel industry partners and other organisations who want to use the Smartraveller logo should send us an email seeking permission.

Include how the logo will be displayed and what format (PNG, JPG, EPS) you require and send your request online.

If you use the Smartraveller logo on your website, link the image to the Smartraveller homepage http://www.smartraveller.gov.au.

Smartraveller RSS feeds and APIs

RSS feeds and APIs are a convenient way to stay up-to-date with frequently updated information. This includes travel advisories.

Smartraveller feeds provide basic reissue information about the official government travel advisories. They link back to the updated page on the Smartraveller website.

Clicking on one of the RSS feeds listed below will display the feed. If your web browser is RSS enabled it will provide you with options to subscribe to the feed. Alternatively, you can copy and paste the URL of the RSS feed into your preferred RSS reader.

Smartraveller APIs
