訪問国について調べる

  • Smartravellerにある訪問国についてのアドバイスを読む。主なリスクと安全な過ごし方がまとめられています。各アドバイスレベルが何を意味するのか知っておきましょう。
  • アドバイス受信のための登録をする。状況が変わった場合には、こちらからお知らせします。X、Facebook、Instagramでフォローしてください。
  • 訪問予定の国々の現地の法律について調べる。
  • 二重国籍者の方は、訪問国でそれによる影響があるかどうか確認する。

渡航書類と旅行保険を手配する

  • 渡航後のパスポート残存有効期間が最低6か月あることを確認する。
  • 訪問国や通過国の正しいビザを入手する。ビザの条件はよく変わるので、渡航前に毎回、該当する国の大使館や領事館で確認してください。
  • 自分と自分の持ち物を守るための総合的な旅行保険に加入する。細かい条件など詳細を確認して自分に合った保険を探し、旅先で予定している活動が補償対象になるようにしてください。
  • お子さん同伴の場合には、追加書類が必要かどうか確認する。
  • 国際免許証(IDP)が必要かどうか確認する。

健康管理のための計画を立てる

  • 医師に相談する。心身ともに健康で、海外に行っても大丈夫かどうか検討する。
  • 旅先に保健衛生上のリスクがないか調べる。
  • 出発の少なくとも8週間前に基本的な健康チェックを受ける。医師の勧める予防接種を受けましょう。
  • 旅先で自分の薬が合法かどうかと入手可能かどうかを確かめる。処方薬は旅先で切らせることがないよう十分な量を持っていきましょう。処方箋のコピーとかかりつけ医からの文書も持ち歩いてください。
  • 旅行用救急セットを入手する。昆虫媒介感染症が発生している国に行く場合には、虫よけを持参してください。

何を持って行くか考える

  • 持ち物をスーツケースに入れる前に、検索ツールPack Right. Safe Flight.を使って危険な物がないかどうか確認する。
  • ご利用の航空会社の荷物に関する規則を確認する。禁止されている物や承認が必要な物があります。機内持ち込みを要する物や、預け入れ荷物に入れなければならない物もあります。例えば、スペアのバッテリーやパワーバンクは機内に持ち込まなければなりません。
  • 旅先の天候と予定している活動に必要な物をケースに入れる。悪天候から身を守るための衣服を持っていきましょう。特に宗教施設に行く場合などは、衣類について文化的に配慮すべきことがないか確認してください。
  • 荷物がなくなった場合に備えて、必要な薬を機内持ち込みと預け入れ荷物に分けて入れることを検討する。
  • 訪問国に持っていける現地通貨と外貨の上限額を確認する。

どこに行くのか知らせておく

  • 海外に行くことを銀行に知らせ、カードが使えるかどうか確認する。支払い方法は複数用意してください。
  • 家族や友人に旅程表をわたす。心配させないように、連絡がつかなくなるかもしれない期間を知らせておきましょう。

困ったことが起きた場合の準備をする

  • パスポートのIDページ、ビザのほか、処方箋や旅行保険、身分証明書などの重要書類をコピーする。このコピー一式を持参し、もう一式は信頼できる誰かに預けておきましょう。
  • 携帯をなくした場合に備えて、フライトや宿泊、イベントのオンライン予約情報の紙面コピーを持っておく。
  • 海外で非常事態が生じた場合にどうするか把握しておく。
  • 支援が必要になった場合に備えて連絡先リストの紙面コピーを持っておく。各国の緊急連絡先は私どものトラベルアドバイスに記載されています。
  • 領事サービス憲章を読み、私どもが海外のオーストラリア人をどのように支援できるかについて理解しておく。
